Taking a step back
Drove to Myakka State Park to step back from our normal and busy lives to get some quiet and really think about what we all forget about in our daily lives.
Being at peace in the wild is priceless. People forget that we live in a society that never stops and if you don't slow yourself down, you will get caught up in it and forget to notice the beauty.

The big picture
This photo essay is something I started a while ago and am re-looking and re-thinking.
The images are about big businesses and how we are cutting down our resources to waste more space.

Photo Essay on pickers
These images are part of a larger project that I am working on about migrant workers in Palmetto. They pick strawberries and other fruits in Myakka and have to be on the bus at 5 Am every morning. The government is paying for them to stay in small project homes. They are fed by spanish food trucks that delivery their food.
